### Import Predefined Symbols

Symbols can be imported using the command line.

1. Navigate to the symbol pool:

| | |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------- |
| ![](/img/grandma3/2-4/icon_commandline-input_logo_v2-0-a59235.png) | User name\[Fixture]>ChangeDestination Image 2 |

2. Now import the predefined library images:

| | |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| ![](/img/grandma3/2-4/icon_commandline-input_logo_v2-0-a59235.png) | User name\@ShowData/MediaPools/Symbols> Import Library "\*.xml" |

This command imports the symbol files from MA into the symbols pool.

3. Return to the command line root:

| | |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| ![](/img/grandma3/2-4/icon_commandline-input_logo_v2-0-a59235.png) | User name\@ShowData/MediaPools/Symbols> ChangeDestination Root |
